To honor his legacy, the Bill Russell 6 Foundation pledges to be the steady voice that carries on the many causes that he has always put first. Rooted in his values of equality, education, and leadership, the organization empowers underserved communities through mentorship, scholarships, and youth sports programs. By promoting teamwork and social justice, the foundation seeks to inspire future leaders to carry forward his vision of equity, integrity, and a better world for all.

MEET JEANNINE RUSSELL

I am thrilled to launch The Bill Russell 6 Foundation to honor the historic legacy of my husband Bill Russell.  The outpouring of love I have received ever since his passing has touched my heart and inspired me to “pay it forward” in ways that would make my husband proud. Through this non-profit organization I believe, together, we can make an impact far greater than Bill and I could have ever imagined doing on our own.

Thank you for coming along this journey with me as we work to ensure that Bill’s legacy continues to inspire and impact lives for generations to come.  I am looking forward to sharing all the ways we will look to partner with individuals and organizations in ways that would make Bill proud.
